Worship at First Lutheran

9:30AMFellowship with Coffee & Cookies
10:00AMWorship with Holy Communion

Worship is the heart of our life together. We believe the Holy Spirit gathers us around God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament, where Christ meets us with forgiveness, hope, and new life. Renewed by God’s grace, we are sent into the world to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

Our worship follows a modern approach to traditional Lutheran worship, centered on four movements:

If you’ve never been to church—or it’s been a long time—you don’t have to worry about knowing what to do. The order of worship is displayed throughout the service, making it easy to follow along and participate in worship.

  • Gathering – The Holy Spirit gathers us as God’s people.
  • Word – God speaks to us through Scripture, preaching, and song.
  • Meal – Christ comes to us in Holy Communion, offering forgiveness, life, and salvation.
  • Sending – Strengthened by God’s gifts, we are sent to love and serve our neighbors.

Come and See

Whether you’re searching for a church home, returning to faith, or simply curious about Christianity, there is a place for you at First Lutheran Church.

Like the Samaritan woman who invited her neighbors to meet Jesus, our invitation is simple: “Come and see.” Come worship with us. Come experience God’s grace through Word and Sacrament. Come discover a community growing in faith, sharing Christ’s love with one another and our neighbors, and learning what it means to follow Jesus together.
